But then, our eyes wander over the tiles and flower beds—there are weeds everywhere! 🌱 It’s time to get rid of them quickly.

In addition to this upcoming tip, it’s important not to neglect regular maintenance. A neat and tidy appearance for your home starts with the patio. It’s the showcase of your outdoor space, as well as a place for relaxation and gathering. By regularly sweeping away leaves and dirt, you can reduce weed growth and keep your patio looking inviting. The method we present on the next page perfectly complements this routine.
Here’s What You Need:
- 5 tablespoons of soda
- 5 tablespoons of green soap (also known as soft soap)
- 10 liters of hot water
Here’s What to Do:
- Dissolve the green soap and soda in a large bucket with the 10 liters of hot water.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the entire patio.
- Scrub the tiles with a stiff-bristle broom.
- Let the solution sit for about 10 minutes and then rinse everything off with water.
Finally, enjoy a clear view without much effort or endless scraping! 🧼💧
Note: Local plant protection laws might apply, so be sure to check before you start. 🌍 Additionally, it's recommended to wear gloves when using this method and ensure the solution doesn’t spill over onto nearby flower beds or lawns to avoid harming other plants. 🌷 By doing this, you can keep your patio clean while also protecting your garden.
